Halle and Gabriel Calls It Quits.
According to Radar Online Halle Berry and long time boyfriend and father of her child Gabriel Aubrey has called it quits.
" RadarOnline.com has learned that Halle and Gabriel have called it quits and worked out a financial and custody deal. They spent months hammering out a deal with a lawyer, RadarOnline.com learned.
A source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com that Gabriel was the one who pulled the plug on their five year relationship and that the age difference – he’s 34, she’s 43 – played a role.
“Gabriel just felt it wasn’t working anymore,” the source says. “When they were first together the 9-year age difference between them didn’t phase him, she was the most beautiful woman he had ever dated and he was totally in love.
“But as time went on he started feeling it more and more.
“Also, Gabriel started noticing other women, and being attracted to other, and he felt it just wasn’t right to stay with Halle in those circumstances.
“Gabriel is a really nice, decent guy and he would never cheat on her, but I suspect that he had become attracted to someone and that he felt he needed to break it off with Halle before anything developed any further.”
This was sad news to me. I really liked him and Halle together, but its seems like she just can't catch a break. I would like to see the women that would make him want to walk away from Halle. On the good note she did receive the baby she wanted and I'm pretty sure she will keep her happy. For the sake of the child I hope things doesn't get ugly.

Fast & Easy Dinner: Mediterranean Salmon and Noodle Bowl
Mediterranean Salmon and Noodle Bowl
From Better Homes and Gardens
Ingredients
1 9-oz. pkg. refrigerated fettuccine
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 lb. skinless, boneless 1-inch thick salmon, cut in 8 pieces
Salt and ground black pepper
6 cups packaged fresh baby spinach
1/2 cup jarred roasted red or yellow sweet peppers
1/2 cup reduced-calorie balsamic vinaigrette salad dressing
Directions
- Prepare pasta according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, brush 1 tablespoon olive oil on salmon. Sprinkle with slat and pepper. Heat an extra-large skillet over medium heat; add salmon. Cook 8 to 12 minutes or until salmon flakes, turning once. Remove salmon; cover and keep warm.
- Add spinach, sweet peppers, and remaining oil to skillet. Cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes, until spinach is wilted.
- Drain pasta; add to skillet. Add dressing; toss to coat. Season with salt and pepper. Divide spinach-pasta mixture among four bowls. Top with salmon.

People Fueled and Shocked By Guru's Farewell Letter.
"In the letter, Premier is not even referred to by name, but expresses the wish that Guru's "ex-DJ" not have anything to do with "my name likeness, events, tributes etc. connected in anyway to my situation including any use of my name or circumstance for any reason and I have instructed my lawyers to enforce this. I had nothing to do with him in life for over 7 years and want nothing to do with him in death. Solar has my life story and is well informed on my family situation, as well as the real reason for separating from my ex-DJ."
In addition to showering praise on the MC (born Keith Elam), a number of commenters expressed their concern that the posthumous letter from Guru's partner, Solar, supplied by a PR firm handling press inquiries about the rapper's health, was suspect.
"The Guru 'farewell' letter reeks of fakeness," wrote Rob, who said he found it hard to believe that Guru was so bitter in death that he would go out of his way to diss his longtime music compatriot Premier. A spokesperson for the PR company that distributed the letter said it was submitted by Solar and approved by Guru and Solar.
"No real fan of Gang Starr is going to believe this letter!," said Louis. "It sounds like something that was written between Solar and his lawyers while Guru laid in bed unable to write or speak. It sounds more to me like a letter bragging about Solar than about Guru's personal legacy. How can you not want Premier to be involved in the death of Guru?"
In the end, though, they were mostly just sad that the world had lost such a gifted lyricist.
Sad day in hip-hop despite the letter we lost a great man. RIP.

Prada Japan Getting Sued.
Bovrisse will seek to overturn her dismissal in the court case to begin on May 14, her lawyers said, adding that further details of the suit, including a demand for compensation for harassment, had yet to be decided. The move came after the two sides failed to reach an out-of-court settlement at a labour tribunal last month.
"I'm here to take a stand for Japanese women who have been victims of harassment and discrimination at the workplace," Bovrisse told a news conference in Tokyo.
"I love this country. I'm proud to be Japanese... as a hard-working female, but the only issue that I saw in Japan was that the working environment was not (as) safe as overseas.
"I would like to be part of the next step, to create a (safe) environment," she said. "If we face an issue now, it should be solved within our generation."
Damn who would want to have to come to work and be called ugly...smh. The fashion industry is crazy. I guess the Devil really does wear Prada.

Robin Thicke and Paula Patton Welcomes Baby Boy!
Robin Thicke and wife Paula Patton are the proud parents of a baby boy.
The R&B singer and Precious actress welcomed a son named Julian into the world on Tuesday (April 6). This is the first child for the couple, who wed in June 2005.
Thicke missed his opening slot on the Los Angeles date of Alicia Keys’ “Freedom” tour so he could be by his wife’s side. His tourmate Keys shared the happy news and confirmed the baby’s name during her set at the Staples Center on Tuesday, saying, “We miss [Robin] tonight, but we congratulate him.”
In a recent interview with Rap-Up.com, Thicke explained how he chose his son’s name. “My brother didn’t ever hang out with me when we were teenagers, so I kind of always dreamed of having a little brother or a son,” he said. “I came up with the name Julian when I was like 14 years old. So when I told my wife the idea, she loved the name and it stuck.”

Gabby Sidibie Hosting Saturday Night Live!
Rumors hit this week that Oscar nominee Gabourey Sidibe would be hosting an episode of “Saturday Night Live” before the season is over in May. And we just received confirmation that NBC officially confirmed the Gabby hosting gig today. We’ve also learned that the date Ms. Sidibe will host is the April 24th show.
