Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz Confirm Pregnany and Engagement.
The musicians "are expecting a baby and are engaged to be married in a private ceremony later this year," reps for the couple confirm to PEOPLE.
The announcement comes after the two, together since fall 2008, attended Thursday night's Black Ball in London, which benefits Keys's Keep a Child Alive charity.
"They're very happy," says a friend of the couple.

Gary Coleman Hospitalized In Crtical Condition
reports.
The 42-year-old former child actor was taken to the hospital after suffering a head injury during a fall. The actor's brother-in-law told TMZ that Coleman is listed in critical condition, saying he was taken from his home in Utah to the hospital around 12:50 p.m. Wednesday.
TMZ also reported that Coleman had what was thought to be a seizure while doing a TV interview in February for "The Insider." At the time, sources on set told the website that Dr. Drew was with the actor as part of a panel and helped Coleman until paramedics showed up on the scene. The site also reported that Coleman was hospitalized in January for what might have been a seizure.
Coleman's manager told E! News that "we're just getting bits and pieces right now, so there's really nothing to report. If there's anything to announce, we'll let you know

Brittany Murphy's Husband Found Dead.
There were no signs of foul play or criminal activity in the death of the widower of actress Brittany Murphy, Los Angeles Police Sgt. Alex Ortiz said.
British screenwriter Simon Monjack was found dead Sunday night at his Hollywood home, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.
Murphy, his wife of less than three years, died five months ago.
Monjack, 39, was pronounced dead after the Los Angeles Fire Department was called to the home for a medical emergency, according to police. Brittany's mother, Sharon Murphy, reportedly lived in the home with Monjack.
Murphy, 32, died in December from a combination of pneumonia, an iron deficiency and multiple drug intoxication, a coroner said. The drugs involved were legal and used to treat a respiratory infection, according to an autopsy.
The often bubbly, free-spirited actress appeared in films such as "Clueless," "8 Mile," "Don't Say a Word" and "Girl, Interrupted."
She also lent her voice to animated works, including the movie "Happy Feet" -- in which she also sang -- and a regular role on the animated TV series "King of the Hill."
Monjack and Murphy were married in May 2007. The couple had no children.

Disney And MAC Cosmetics To Release Exclusive Collection This Fall!
M.A.C Cosmetics is set to memorialize four of Disney’s most “Venomous Villains” in a new exclusive fall collection this September, according to WWD. The cosmetics company is staying hush about which villains will be featured on its products, however on its official website, MAC released a teaser video with abstract renderings of what appears to Cruella Deville from “101 Dalmatians” and The Queen from “Snow White” among two others. Set to include the usual fare of eye, face and lip products that may cost from $12-$.29.50

Diddy Wants to Replace Simon Cowell on American Idol
Every since American Idol announced that Simon Cowell would be stepping down as a judge on the popular television show, everyone including Diddy has been trying to fill his spot. Diddy is very interested in replacing Cowell on Idol and has even requested that his fans support him in this possible endeavor. “I have been fronting all this time, trying to act like I don’t want that spot,” he said in an interview. “[But] I spoke to Simon’s business manager, and I found out how much that boy makes a week. I am praying right now to ‘American Idol,’ … I want everybody to get on Twitter, MySpace, Facebook and say that Diddy should get the Simon spot — but for the same amount of money that Simon was getting, else it’s a deal-breaker. Demi Moore Wants To Tell Her Story.
Demi Moore meets with NYC publishers about memoir. Moore's agent, Luke Janklow, confirmed Monday that the actress is working on a memoir and is meeting with publishers in New York. He declined to comment further.
The 47-year-old Moore is known for her work in the films "Ghost" and "A Few Good Men." In 1991, she posed naked and pregnant on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine.Moore has three daughters with former husband Bruce Willis. She married Ashton Kutcher in 2005.

Kanye West To Release New Album This Summer
According to a report by HipHopUpdate.com, Chicago rapper Kanye West will be releasing his upcoming album in late summer. The new release date was reportedly revealed at an event held by Def Jam last weekend in Santa Monica, California. The HipHopUpdate.com source stated that while a specific date was not announced it was revealed that the album, which is entitled Good A** Job, will be released some time in September. Good A** Job was initially expected to be released next month on June 29.

Beyoncé and her mother Tina Knowles are entering the world of interior design after inking a deal to create a line of bedding and home furnishings with Arrow Home Fashions, according to a press release. The designing divas' Beyond Productions company signed the licensing deal, which will include home collections under their House of Deréon and Deréon clothing lines.
So how will sexy, bootylicious frocks translate into your boudoir?
Expect to see bedding (shams, comforters, pillows, etc.) in a variety of luxe-feeling woven jacquard, poly satin and faux silk fabrics, along with European-inspired prints, feminine pin-tucked detailing, metallic thread, diamond quilt stitching, and bohemian patchwork accents, the company reveals.
Intense colors and fashion-forward details like studs, sequins, mirrors, and rivets will also reinforce the House of Deréon and Deréon aesthetic, as will the appearance of their accent agu and fleur-de-lis logos.
"Both Beyoncé and I are huge fans of home furnishings and try to stay on top of this ever-changing market," Tina Knowles, the company's founder and creative director, said in a press statement.
"As someone who has also realized many interior-design projects, I am so excited to expand our House of Deréon and Deréon brands in this category.
"The thought that we would have something to do in brightening up someone's home, especially bedrooms, is truly wonderful."

The War on Fake Louboutin Begins!
Christian Louboutin has decided to fight back against counterfeiters with an education and legal campaign. Louboutin launched Stop Fake Louboutin , complete with a video and information on the legal actions they have done, as well as some of the outcomes. The highlight of the website is a video of thousands of fake Louboutins shoes being crushed. Even though they were fake, my heart was a little crushed by all those shoes being damaged.
It’s great that Christian Louboutin is providing tons of information to the consumers, so people are informed by the choices they make.

Wyclef Jean Urges Public Not To Forget About Haiti
As previously reported the artist and founder of Yele Haiti penned a letter to the government asking them to further help Haitians left homeless during the nation's rainy season.
Now he's moved on to the American public and saysthat people are still suffering.
According to Wyclef there are still a number of people in need of aid including millions who are still homeless.
“1.2 million people are still living out of tents, people are still hungry and the situation of helping through medicine is very important…What I want people to understand is you have a population that's still suffering and is still in need of aid.”Wyclef also says that the infrastructure of the country must be strengthened so they can continue to rebuild.
“As we rebuild we have to make sure there's a strong education program in this country where kids are learning how to read and write. You're not going to move a country forward until you do that…”

President Obama Nominates Elena Kagan for Supreme Court Justice.
The nomination to replace liberal retiring Justice John Paul Stevens set the stage for a bruising confirmation battle, though mathematically Democrats should be able to prevail in the end.
At 50, Kagan is relatively young for the lifetime post and could help shape the high court's decisions for decades. If confirmed by the Senate, she would become only the fourth female justice in history.
Obama cited what he called Kagan's "openness to a broad array of viewpoints" and her "fair mindedness."
Standing beside the president in the East Room of the White House, Kagan said she was "honored and humbled by this nomination."
"I look forward to working with the Senate in the next stage of this process, and I thank you again, Mr. President, for this honor of a lifetime," she said.

R.I.P. Lena Horne
As an actress, she might be the most elegant vision that much of America never saw. For many years Hollywood didn't think the country was ready for a black leading lady, even one whose elegance and beauty could take an audience's breath away.
As a singer, she was in her mid-60s before her one-woman tour de force on Broadway in 1981-82 showed everyone in the city and the world just what she could do with a song.
Horne, who died Sunday in New York Presbyterian Hospital at the age of 92, lit up the sky from the moment in 1932 when she took her first steps in the Cotton Club chorus line. The sky just had a lot of clouds in it for a lot of years.
She began singing in the mid-1930s, with a voice that was powerful and warm yet somehow wistful. It would take her years to really understand her songs, she later said, but the voice was always there.
The movies came next. Her tall-and-tan glamour and flashing brown eyes, not to mention a smile that could melt the polar icecap, turned her into the kind of screen goddess who would, in the phrase of the day, make a bulldog jump the fence.
But even though she also went on to star in nightclubs and on Broadway, it would take almost half a century before America would fully embrace Lena Horne - because throughout her prime performing years, neither Hollywood nor the music business was ready to give a "colored girl" a full fair shot in the mainstream.
She breached the barrier occasionally, winning a Tony nomination for her starring role in the 1957 Broadway show "Jamaica" with Ossie Davis. But Hollywood would rarely let her act at all, instead limiting her to musical "inserts." Producers would darken her skin with a special makeup called "Egyptian Dark," put her in a beautiful outfit and have her sing a song that could be snipped out of the print that was sent to Southern theaters, where some of the owners said their patrons didn't cotton to race-mixing on the screen.
"I was like a butterfly pinned to a pillar," Horne would later say, but she had little choice. When she pressed hard in 1951 for the role of the tragic Julie in the film remake of "Show Boat," MGM decided it was too risky to have a black actress play a black character and instead cast Ava Gardner.
"I had things in my life that helped me fight off the bitterness," Horne said in a 1982 interview. "But I didn't really enjoy my career until I was 50. I always felt like an outsider."
Born in Brooklyn in 1917 to parents who would soon divorce, Horne was raised by her grandmother for the first years of her life. When she was 19 she married Louis Jones, and they had two children, Gail and Teddy, before divorcing in 1944. Gail would become a well-known author as Gail Lumet Buckley, while Teddy died in 1970 of kidney failure.

"Kim Kardashian wants the world to think that she’s the perfect, supportive sister who would do anything for her family. But in an exclusive interview with In Touch, Kim’s ex-husband says that behind closed doors, Kim has a very different — and troubling — set of priorities. “Kim is obsessed with fame,” Kim’s ex, music producer Damon Thomas, reveals, adding that even when he was in love with her, Kim struck him as the type of person who would step on anyone in order to get where she wanted — including her sisters, Khloé and Kourtney. “She’s jealous and competitive with her sisters,” he shares. Desperate to be famous, Damon says, Kim doesn’t seem to care whom she hurts — whether it’s friends, lovers or even her own family. “She can’t write or sing or dance, so she does harmful things in order to validate herself in the media,” he says. “That’s a fame-whore to me. It’s just not cool at all.” And while a rep for the Kardashian sisters says they’re “best friends and very supportive of one another,” Damon disagrees. “Jealousy is a big thing” with Kim, he says, revealing that when he knew her, Kim would “do whatever it takes” in order to get ahead.
If Kim’s sisters feel wronged by her, Damon says, they aren’t the only ones. In fact, he believes Kim was behind the recent release of court papers, filed during their 2003 divorce, in which she claimed he beat her — a claim he emphatically denies. “It’s just absolutely not true,” he says, adding that Kim never filed for a restraining order or a protective order throughout their marriage, and simply accused him of abuse in order to get “a lot of money” out of him. Damon says, he was the one who filed for divorce first. And he did it because Kim was cheating on him with “multiple guys.” Kim has denied this claim. Still, Kim managed to lure Damon back into the relationship for a brief time, during which, he says, she convinced him to finance extravagant shopping sprees and extensive plastic surgery — including a boob job and liposuction. “She wanted to have that lifestyle,” he explains. “She wanted to be what she ultimately became.” And Damon was willing to finance it — until he saw her on the cover of a magazine on a date with Jennifer Lopez’s ex, Cris Judd. “I saw my wife with another man, wearing the clothes that we had just bought after her lipo,” he says. “It was not something as a husband you ever wanted to see.”

Nas Says He Can't Afford To Pay Kelis
Earlier this week, Nas told a judge that he couldn’t afford to pay Kelis the child and spousal support ordered by the court. The court also ordered that Nas pay more than $87,000 in back spousal and child support. Not to mention, he has to pay Kelis $10,000 a month in spousal support.
According to TMZ, Nas makes about $152,031 a month, but the rapper says he makes “substantially less than that amount” and wants the judge to view his financial books.

And a judge that would award some stuff like that is suspect. No matter how much money he has its HIS from his succesful career. Revlon Marathon For Women!
Actress Halle Berry, Jessica Biel, Jessica Alba, Dr Oz, and Jesse Powell got together for the Revlon 2010 Marathon Walk/Run for Women. Trey Songz was the performer for the guest and got quite cozy with the newly single Ms Berry! Good times for a good cause. Love it!
Japan going frugal with Forever 21 Ginza opening
The star brand of American mall-style clothing — reputed for delivering runway looks at cheap prices — opened Thursday in Matsuzakaya department store in Tokyo's upscale glitzy Ginza district.
In a move symbolic of the shift to bargain hunting in slowdown-struck Japan, Forever 21 is replacing what was a Gucci boutique, packing five floors with colorful racks of 350 yen ($4) tank tops and 1,580 yen ($17) frilly skirts.
"It's a surprise to find good bargains in a department store," said Fusako Suzuki, one of the first customers, clutching her purchase of eight items, including socks and summer tunics, adding up to a thrifty 10,000 yen ($100).
"I used to go to expensive brands when I was single but not any more, now that I'm married," the 33-year-old pharmacist said of former favorites like Burberry.
The department store replaced Gucci with Forever 21 in the hope of drawing more business and is offering freebies and discounts to those who buy merchandise worth 2,100 yen ($22) at Forever 21.
The new Forever 21 store is just its second in Japan
