Trey Songz and Monica Announce New Tour

R&B singers Trey Songz and Monica have joined forces for an upcoming tour set to start in August. The “Pain, Passion & Pleasure” tour will begin in Shreveport Louisiana and will continue on throughout September.  Songz had this to say regarding the upcoming tour with Monica, “The ‘Passion, Pain, & Pleasure Tour’ is not just another show; it will be an up close and personal experience for everyone.

With the help of one of the best R&B female vocalists out today, my sister Monica, we promise you a night to remember.”  Aside from the tour, Songz recently filmed a 10 episode docu-series for BET called “My Moment.”

Trey Songz released the video  for "Yo Side of The Bed." His seventh single of the album "Ready". This video had Twitter going crazy and after one watch I joined in on the hype, teary eyed and all. The video stars him and Keri Hilson, the chemistry between the two of them is crazy.





Remember to keep the troops and their families in your prayers. People often forget about them.  Great video.

Revlon Marathon For Women!

Actress Halle Berry, Jessica Biel, Jessica Alba, Dr Oz, and Jesse Powell got together for the Revlon 2010 Marathon Walk/Run for Women. Trey Songz was the performer for the guest and got quite cozy with the newly single Ms Berry! Good times for a good cause. Love it!

Honey: To open yourself up to your fans…
Trey Songz: I do, but I can’t give my whole life to my fans. Then the mystique is gone. If you know everything about someone, why would you continue to pursue that person?

Honey: How would you define this moment in your career? You had your debut [I Gotta Make It], your sophomore album [Trey Day] — of course, you were younger, kind of establishing yourself. Where would you say you are three albums in with Ready?
Trey Songz: I’m still establishing myself, I would say. I’m opening myself up to a fanbase that never knew me so while my first album was the original introduction; the second album was probably a step further into introducing myself. I feel this album is still an introduction because it’s more people coming on board.

Honey: When comparing yourself to other guys in R&B, who do you consider your competition?
Trey Songz: I’m my own competition.

Trey Songz Joins Jay-Z on Blueprint 3 Tour!

Trey Songz had a banner 2009 and he’s continuing his reign in 2010 by touring with one of the biggest names in music, Jay-Z.

The R&B singer has joined the second leg of the rapper’s Blueprint 3 tour. He will be one of the opening acts when it kicks off in arenas across the U.S. starting February 20 at the Bank Atlantic Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He is currently scheduled to perform on all 23 dates, wrapping March 27 at The Pearl Concert Theater in Las Vegas.
Young Jeezy was previously announced as a supporting act. Tour dates, including stops at New York City’s Madison Square Garden and Los Angeles’ Staples Center, can be found here.
Jay-Z’s latest album The Blueprint 3 was released in September on Atlantic Records, home to Songz.
