Beyoncé to Launch House of Deréon and Deréon Bedding, Home Furnishing Lines

Beyoncé and her mother Tina Knowles are entering the world of interior design after inking a deal to create a line of bedding and home furnishings with Arrow Home Fashions, according to a press release. The designing divas' Beyond Productions company signed the licensing deal, which will include home collections under their House of Deréon and Deréon clothing lines.

So how will sexy, bootylicious frocks translate into your boudoir?
Expect to see bedding (shams, comforters, pillows, etc.) in a variety of luxe-feeling woven jacquard, poly satin and faux silk fabrics, along with European-inspired prints, feminine pin-tucked detailing, metallic thread, diamond quilt stitching, and bohemian patchwork accents, the company reveals.
Intense colors and fashion-forward details like studs, sequins, mirrors, and rivets will also reinforce the House of Deréon and Deréon aesthetic, as will the appearance of their accent agu and fleur-de-lis logos.

"Both Beyoncé and I are huge fans of home furnishings and try to stay on top of this ever-changing market," Tina Knowles, the company's founder and creative director, said in a press statement.
"As someone who has also realized many interior-design projects, I am so excited to expand our House of Deréon and Deréon brands in this category.

"The thought that we would have something to do in brightening up someone's home, especially bedrooms, is truly wonderful."
And it's not just bedrooms that will get the Beyoncé treatment. A later line will include bath accessories and towels as well as table linens.

The collections will be available at major department and specialty stores, and will range from $149.99 to $199.99 for House of Deréon and $49.99 to $99.99 for Deréon.
Can't wait to get between these sheets!

I didn't see bedding coming, but this is not what I expected. Not Bad.

Check out the full video for Beyonce’s “Why Don’t You Love Me?” (written by Solange Knowles) off of her latest album, I Am… Sasha Fierce.

The new clip, which was shot just for her fans, was co-directed by popular music video director, Melina and Bee Z, featuring Beyonce as “B.B. Homemaker.”

Lady Gaga ft. Beyonce "Telephone" Music Video.

So this is the video that we all have been waiting for. After that disapointment  for "Video Phone"  My eyes stayed glued to the screen for the entire 9 minutes and 32 seconds, the video had Lady Gaga written all over it.

Beyonce and Tina Knowles on Good Morning America.

Recently Beyonce opened up a cosmetology center at the Phoenix House in Brooklyn NY. A rehab that will give recovering addicts a chance to learn a trade and enter the working world when leaving the center. After watching the video and I was really moved. There is nothing better than giving back. Kudos to Beyonce for showing that she cares. And to all the haters that had something negative to say.. STFU! What have you done for someone lately? Probably nothing. Take notes and learn how to be a help to your community. Something as simple as buying a homeless person a meal can be an answer to someones prayers.

The Beyonce Cosmetology Center Is Now Open!

Beyonce and her mother Tina cut the ribbon to the The Beyonce Cosmetology Center at the Phoenix House Rehab in Brooklyn NY. Back when Beyonce was filming "Cadillac Records, she visited the center and so moved by the stories she decided to donate her salary from the movie and open the center with the help of her mother. The Beyonce Cosmetology Center will be for men or women to start their careers in the beauty industry after completing a seven month program.

Beyonce and Matthew Knowles Caught Lying Again....

Matthew Knowles is one snake and even though I like Beyonce I'm giving her the side eye too. Producer Rob Fusari sat down with Billboard Magazine and told how he was gypped out of credit for "Bootylicious"..

Robs interview snippet when you read the rest…

Fusari tells Billboard magazine, “I came up with the idea to build a track using the guitar riff from Stevie Nicks’ Edge of Seventeen.
“I figured I’d put the guitar loop on there temporarily, and later go into the studio with a guitar and replay it, because I’d learned, after sampling Stevie Wonder’s I Wish for Will Smith’s Wild Wild West, that I didn’t want to lose 50 per cent of the publishing (royalties). I vividly remember telling Mathew Knowles, ‘Mathew, you got to book me into your studio and let me replay that riff.’
“He didn’t want to do it. So 50 per cent got cut for one note. That whole experience was bittersweet for me.

“I remember watching Barbara Walters interview Beyonce about Bootylicious, and she told Barbara about how she came up with the idea for the track.”
Fusari, who went on to help Lady Gaga launch her pop career, insists he was brushed off when he complained about the interview, adding, “I called Mathew – which was a big mistake; I got emotional, and I apologised after – but I called Mathew and said, ‘Mathew, like, why?’ He explained to me, in a nice way, he said, ‘People don’t want to hear about Rob Fusari, producer from Livingston, N.J. No offence, but that’s not what sells records. What sells records is people believing that the artist is everything.’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah, I know, Mathew. I understand the game. But come on, I’m trying too. I’m a squirrel trying to get a nut, too.’”

SMH... I thought honesty was the best policy but I guess not when you want all Fame.

Matthew Knowles You Are The Father!

In the case of a new born baby girl Matthew Knowles you are the father.  (In my Maury voice)

Sources say that Alexsandra Wright had a paternity test done recently after giving birth to her daughter, and Mathew Knowles is indeed the father. No word on how Bey Bey, Tina or Solange are taking the news of their newest family member, but we’re sure they aren’t too happy. It is said that Tina’s recent file for divorce was due to Mathew’s cheating

Dang.. I know this sucks for the Bey and Solo, I bet this will be one of the subjects you aren't allowed to ask about at interviews. At least Juelz will have a younger aunt to play with.

Gun Activist Speaks About "Video Phone" Music Video.

Lady Gaga's wild ways have earned her an enemy.
After using prop pistols during her live stage shows, and waving around faux firearms with Beyoncé in the video for their hit single, "Video Phone," gun safety group the Brady Campaign is taking on the popstar.

"The music was fine, but I wonder why they went out of their way to glorify guns in their production," campaign president, Paul Helmke wrote on their website. "Beyond the sexual stereotype of guns in general, it's hard to understand why they are in the video at all."

But why the sudden interest in the not-so-recently-released music video and its stars?
The twosome, as well as soon-to-be-jailed-on-gun-charges rapper, Lil Wayne, are set to take the stage at Sunday's Grammy Awards, and the activists are looking for the broadcast to be held accountable for the message it is allegedly sending.

"I can hear people say, 'Hey, it's just show business,' and that Beyoncé, Lady Gaga and Lil Wayne each put on a good show. I understand that," explained Helmke.

"Yet it is difficult to deny the influence that these entertainers have on our popular culture and the young people who absorb it," he continued. "Guns aren't toys, even when they're made with pretty colors or sung about in rap songs, and it is dangerous to treat them that way.

"It is a deadly problem that more of us—including celebrities—should take seriously."
Neither CBS nor a rep for the Grammy's have as yet responded to the criticism
